Offering Hope for a sustainable future
through knowledge and unified action.
through knowledge and unified action.
Hopeandknowledge.org (Utah's Environmental Action Resource) will be a one stop site providing all the information anyone needs to better understand Utah's environmental issues and challenges. This will be accomplished by combining all the extensive information found on this site with links to websites of Utah's environmental groups and through mass marketing efforts.
As the founder of Hopeandknowledge.org, it is my dream to create one of the most visited and useful environmental websites in Utah. It's vital that we encourage local governments, businesses and individuals to contribute to this site and use it as a valuable resource in their sustainability programs. The only way this will happen is if this site is informative, easy to access, interesting, up-to-date, fun and pro-active.
Message to volunteers: Each topic (see sidebars) requires one person to do the research. Ten volunteers will be needed for about 6 weeks. Most of the information is readily available on the internet. If you have an interest in any of these topics, or your strength lies in compilation and editing, or you are just a good researcher, then you are needed now. Computer skills are a must. Volunteer by emailing me at info@hopeandknowledge.org
Message to contributors: In order to create the state-of-the-art, interactive website and to do the extensive marketing needed, Hopeandknowledge.org will need money. To that end, we need the financial support from those who feel strongly about ensuring Utah's environmental sustainability and health. Please call me to talk about how we can work together to create Hopeandknowledge.org and healthier future for Utah.
Thank you
